We took a month’s self catering holiday in Cape Town in February 2011. We found our accommodation, Wedgewood Cottage in Edgemead, on the internet and we can only say how lucky we were that we chose it. This is 5 star accommodation run by two lovely people, Lynn and Michael Wickam. The cottage sits in beautiful private gardens complete with a well kept swimming pool, braai area and garden seating (different areas of the garden to choose from). The service we received in the cottage was also 5 star. Lynn and Michael’s standards are very high and this is reflected in the cottage – we would describe it as a home away from home with the added bonus of the swimming pool. This was our 5th visit to Cape Town and Wedgewood Cottage was the best accommodation we have found during all our visits. The help and advice we received from Lynn and Michael was excellent – nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for everything - we hope to come and stay again.
